**Job Summary:**

  • The PAL Officer will provide logistical support to the office, liaising with the PAL Coordinator and finance team to ensure good recordkeeping and smooth office operations.
  • The position will supervise office cleaning staff and driver.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with landlords, vendors, suppliers, and courier services to maintain a fully functional office.
  • Coordinate package delivery and pick up.
  • Update SFCG's inventory list regularly.
  • Develop and oversee safety protocols, including security company management.
  • Ensure door security system and key management are functioning properly.
  • Manage telephone, intercom, and internet systems.
  • Provide logistical support for meetings and conferences.
  • Respond to general emails and forward to relevant staff members.
  • Provide orientation for new staff, visitors, or consultants on office equipment and systems.
  • Maintain office equipment and oversee repairs.
  • Manage office fleet and approve private vehicle hire.
  • Oversee vehicle repairs.
  • Maintain office logs on travel, inventory, and fuel usage.
  • Prepare travel arrangements, documentation, and necessary materials.
  • Prepare and submit a monthly logistics report.
  • Coordinate procurement process of goods and services.
  • Maintain and update vendor database.
  • Monitor quality and control cost on office supplies, stationery, hotel accommodation, transportation, and equipment.
  • Provide support to HR as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree/HND in Business Administration, Management, or Procurement.
Experience:
  • 2-3 years of professional experience providing administrative, logistical, and/or operational support.
  • Experience working in an international NGO is a plus.
  • Experience working with little or no supervision.
Other Requirements:
  • Resident in Plateau state is an added advantage.
  • Proven interest and commitment to humanitarian and development principles.
  • Excellent English oral and written skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong IT skills, including Email, Microsoft Office applications, Google Drive, Google Docs, Sheets, and Presentation.
  • Good reporting capacity and experience.
  • Ability to function effectively under stressful conditions.
