Job Summary:

  • Our client, a leading player in the Consulting sector, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance & HR Officer to join their team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the client's compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as managing all aspects of human resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs and policies in line with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance on compliance matters to employees
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and grievance handling.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with industry standards.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of HR and compliance metrics
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategic initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and laws in the renewable energy industry, and advise management accordingly

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Economics, Business, Law, or a similar field.
  • 4 years minimum experience in compliance & HR
  • Professional certification in compliance or HR CIPM is a Plus
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in Nigeria
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems e.g., ZOHO, Seamless HR, BambooHR
