Compliance & HR Officer

Job Summary:
- Our client, a leading player in the Consulting sector, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance & HR Officer to join their team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the client's compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as managing all aspects of human resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs and policies in line with industry regulations and best practices.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and guidance on compliance matters to employees
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and grievance handling.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with industry standards.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of HR and compliance metrics
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategic initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and laws in the renewable energy industry, and advise management accordingly
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Economics, Business, Law, or a similar field.
- 4 years minimum experience in compliance & HR
- Professional certification in compliance or HR CIPM is a Plus
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in Nigeria
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in HR software and systems e.g., ZOHO, Seamless HR, BambooHR
