JOB SUMMARY
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related of experience in internal auditing, preferably in the microfinance sector.Strong knowledge of auditing standards and regulatory requirements.Proficiency in audit tools and software for data analysis.Excellent communication and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for evaluating internal controls, risk management processes, and regulatory compliance.The ideal candidate will have a strong auditing background and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with regulatory standards.Develop audit plans based on identified risks and business objectives.Evaluate financial statements and operational processes for accuracy and efficiency.Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.Analyze audit findings and prepare detailed reports for management review.Collaborate with teams to promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes relevant to microfinance.
