The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) is the state oil corporation which was established on April 1, 1977. In addition to its exploration activities, the Corporation was given powers and operational interests in refining, petrochemicals and products transportation as well as marketing. Between 1978 and 1989, NNPC constructed refineries in Warri, Kaduna and Port Harcourt and took over the 35,000-barrel Shell Refinery established in Port Harcourt in 1965.

JOB SUMMARY
Educational Qualifications First Bachelors Degree or its equivalent in Engineering, Physical Sciences or related fields A Master's Degree will be an added advantage Professional qualification, certification and membership of at least one relevant professional body e.g. NAPE, SPE, NSE, COREN, PETAN, etc. Experience in oil and gas industry and in similar functional area is an added advantageExperience: Minimum of 9 years relevant post qualification experience Experience in the oil and gas industry will be an added advantage.Competence: Knowledge of environmental regulations, policies, and best practices. Knowledge of Marine & Offshore environmental assessment methods. Project Management Skills. Negotiation Skills. Stakeholder Management Skills. Communication Skills. Organizational Skills. Marine & Offshore Environmental Audit Skills. Leadership Skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Objectives Co-ordinate E2E Marine & Offshore Environmental services such as ESIA, ECM, EDM, EBSA, Air Quality Pollution control, JIV Services for clients.Key Duties Ensures uptime of Laboratory equipment related to Environmental services to reduce outsourcing in the short term and eliminate same on the long term. Implements environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, IMO and local regulations. Ensures cost efficient and timely delivery of ESIA, ECM, EDM, EBSA, Air Quality Pollution control, JIV Services for clients. Conducts environmental audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations. Provides information to regulatory agencies and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Keeps abreast of changes in environmental regulations and ensures that the company's operations are in compliance. Ensures environmental budget compliance. Assess and manages environmental liabilities and risks associated with the company's operations.
