JOB SUMMARY

  • Master's Degree or equivalent in Medical/Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Information Technology, or related fields
  • Minimum 12+ years of relevant technical/project management experience
  • Experience in NGO preferred
  • Proficiency in rules and regulations of international development organizations
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management and strategic planning
  • Strong leadership and multi-sector project management experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor technical aspects of a USAID-funded health information system project
  • Provide technical leadership and oversee implementation of Health Information Systems
  • Ensure quality and timely technical program implementation
  • Develop technical strategies and policies
  • Oversee quality assurance and training
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders
  • Implement performance monitoring plan
  • Ensure integration of project's technical areas
  • Supervise and mentor technical staff

Problem Solving & Impact:

Work on complex problems, exercise judgment to obtain results, decisions affect project success

Supervision Given/Received:

Direct supervision of technical team, coordinate with project lead, report to Project Director
