Projects Coordinator

Supports project implementation and project health across the IRC Nigeria portfolio. Assists in activity implementation, budget management, and project cycle meetings. Maintains close working relationships with project management, grants, finance, and operational support units. The ideal candidate has a Master's degree in management or general operations, with at least 5 years of experience managing operations and/or projects in INGOs. They must have strong management and leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases. The role requires flexibility, independence, and ability to meet deadlines. **Key Responsibilities:**
* Activity Implementation:
* Assist in implementing projects, ensuring alignment to activity plans and budgets.
* Develop detailed implementation plans and item forecasts.
* Budget Management:
* Support scheduling and coordination of budget versus actual meetings.
* Design budget tracking tools to analyze spending trends.
* Project Cycle Meetings:
* Support scheduling and tracking of project cycle meetings.
* Participate in addressing root causes of over/underspending.
* Coordination:
* Support internal coordination mechanisms, including monthly coordination meetings.
* Establish systems and processes within the country program.
* Strategic Planning:
* Participate in the implementation and review of the strategic action plan.
* Participate actively in the Country Leadership Group.
* Others:
* Identify capacity gaps among senior outcome managers.
* Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to senior outcome managers.
