Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop and curate engaging content for our social media platforms Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
  • Community Management: Monitor and respond to comments and messages, engaging with our audience promptly and authentically
  • Social Media Strategy: Assist in creating and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, and engagement, and drive traffic
  • Analytics: Track and analyse the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools, providing regular reports and insights to optimise future campaigns
  • Trends and Research: Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and share insights with the team
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals and campaigns
  • Campaign Support and Media Buying: Plan and execute paid social media campaigns, including budget management, ad creation, and performance analysis
  • Any other duties as assigned by the manager

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • Proven experience 2-4 years in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, particularly Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Experience with social media management and analytics tools e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics
  • Basic understanding of SEO, web traffic metrics, and social media algorithms
  • Familiarity with content creation tools e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret social media metrics and provide actionable insights
  • Experience in tracking and reporting on campaign performance and ROI
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to craft engaging and authentic content tailored to different social media platforms and audiences
  • Knowledge of social media advertising and media buying, including budget management and ad performance analysis
