JOB TITLE: WEIGH BRIDGE OPERATOR
LOCATION: ILARO OGUN STATE

Job Summary:
The weigh bridge operator will be responsible for Carrying out weighing of all trucks / load brought to the weighbridge and maintaining accurate record for all transactions while reporting any discrepancies to the Logistics/Warehouse Officer.
The role will require expertise in weigh bridge operations.

Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure all vehicles on the weighbridge are properly positioned on the weighing platform before initiating weighing process
· Monitor all pending trucks yet to weigh out and raise alarm when necessary
· Ensure security personnel attached to the weigh bridge is attentive during operations.
· Monitor each vehicle carrying finished goods by comparing cumulative weight (total standard weight of bags) against the weigh bridge weight obtained and immediately reporting a weight disparity beyond tolerable limits to the Engineering Services Manager through the Logistics/Warehouse Officer.
· Generate daily report and scrutinize for adequacy
· Prepare weekly report summarizing the activities of the weigh bridge.

Qualifications:
· OND or HND in Science or Social Science.
· 3 years working experience as a weigh bridge operator.
· Must be result oriented with high level of self-confidence and assertiveness
· Must be able to work under little or no supervision
