The Team Lead – Wealth Management is responsible for managing and leading a team of wealth
management professionals to deliver exceptional wealth management solutions to high-net-worth
individuals (HNWIs) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs).
This role combines leadership, client relationship management, and strategic planning to grow the
private banking segment while ensuring the highest standards of service and compliance.
This role is pivotal in driving the growth of the wealth management business, fostering long-term client
relationships, and positioning the team as a trusted provider of bespoke financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of wealth management/ treasury sales officers, relationship
managers, and support staff.

• Set performance targets and ensure team members achieve or exceed individual and team
objectives.

• Provide ongoing coaching, training, and professional development to enhance team capabilities.

• Oversee the acquisition, retention, and growth of HNW and UHNW client relationships.

• Support team members in delivering personalized financial solutions, including wealth
management, investment advisory, and credit services.

• Serve as a point of escalation for complex client issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

• Develop fixed deposit and treasury savings propositions for Corporate and individual clients of
Vale, in collaboration with the Leadership Team.

• Generate new deposit liabilities of N60 Million monthly (N180 Million Quarterly). This shall
count towards a cumulative personal deposit target for the financial year. It, therefore, implies
that deposit liquidations/withdrawals from your personal portfolio in each month will
automatically form part of that month's sales target where the withdrawal happened on or
before the 15th, or form part of the subsequent month's target if the liquidation occurs later
than the 15th of the month.

• Recruit and manage a team of Treasury sales officers who will each generate new deposit
liabilities of N30-50 million monthly and subject to the cumulative sales target process indicated
above.

• Undertake relevant business development tasks as may be assigned by the senior leadership from time to time
