Waiter for Immediate start

Job Summary:
The Waiter/Server is responsible for delivering excellent customer service to families and children, ensuring orders are taken accurately, served promptly, and that the dining area remains clean and inviting. This role requires patience, energy, and a love for creating memorable experiences for guests. Previous experience in a fast paced hotel or restaurant is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
• Welcome guests warmly and guide them to their tables.
• Present the menu, explain items, and answer questions about ingredients or dietary options.
• Provide recommendations on menu items tailored for children and families.
Order Management:
• Take orders accurately, ensuring any special dietary requests are noted.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner.
• Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction and address additional requests.
Dining Area Maintenance:
• Set up and clean tables between guests, ensuring high standards of hygiene.
• Assist with organizing highchairs and accommodating strollers in the seating area.
• Monitor the dining area for spills or hazards and act quickly to address them.
Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with baristas, kitchen staff, and play area attendants to provide seamless service.
• Assist with hosting birthday parties or special events as needed.
• Communicate effectively during busy periods to maintain smooth operations.
Sales and Upselling:
• Inform guests about daily specials, promotions, or play café packages.
• Suggest additional items such as desserts, drinks, or takeaway options.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in a customer-facing role, especially in food service, is a plus.
• Skills:
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
o Basic math skills for handling orders and payments.
