Junior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
● Analyze and evaluate tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQ), and specifications.
● Assist in the preparation of financial feasibility studies and project appraisals.
● Review and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
● Monitor and control contract costs, including variations and change orders.
● Prepare and issue interim and final payment certificates to contractors
● Monitor project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
● Prepare regular financial reports, including cash flow forecasts, cost value reconciliations (CVR), and budget
variance analysis.
● Ensure that all financial and contractual records are accurately maintained and up to date.
● Assist in the procurement of materials, subcontractors, and services, ensuring value for money.
● Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
● Ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers and subcontractors.
● Liaise with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure clear communication and collaboration on financial
matters.
● Attend site meetings to monitor project progress and address any cost-related issues.
● Provide cost and contractual advice to project teams and senior management.
