Job Description

The Quantity Surveyor - Project Finance Specialist will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects. Key responsibilities include:

Financial Planning and Analysis:
  • Preparation of detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
  • Analysis and evaluation of tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQ), and specifications to ensure accurate financial planning.
Contract Management:
  • Review and management of contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Monitoring and control of contract costs, including variations and change orders, to maintain project profitability.
Financial Reporting and Record-Keeping:
  • Preparation of regular financial reports, including cash flow forecasts, cost value reconciliations (CVR), and budget variance analysis.
  • Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date financial and contractual records to facilitate smooth project execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, quantity surveying, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, to manage and analyze large datasets.
