Responsibilities:
• Installation of Plumbing Systems.
• Install pipes, fixtures, and fittings for water supply, drainage, and heating systems.
• Work on residential, commercial, and small industrial plumbing projects.
• Maintenance and Repairs.
• Diagnose and repair leaks, clogs, and mechanical issues in plumbing systems.
• Replace or upgrade faulty fixtures such as faucets, toilets, valves, and pipes.
• Reading Blueprints and Building Codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plumbing schematics.
• Ensure all work complies with local and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Customer Communication and Service.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners, contractors, and site managers regarding plumbing issues.
• Provide cost estimates, project timelines, and recommendations for system upgrades or preventive care.
• Worksite Preparation and Cleanup.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout and after job completion.


Requisite Qualification & Experience:
2 – 5 years relevant work experience with ND & Test Trade 1
Key Competence & Behavioral Expectations:
• A plumber must possess strong technical skills, including the ability to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Effective problem-solving is essential, as plumbers need to quickly identify the source of plumbing issues and apply practical solutions.
• A solid understanding of plumbing codes and regulations is required to ensure all work complies with legal and safety standards.
• Physical strength and stamina are necessary, as the job involves lifting heavy materials, working in tight spaces, and standing or bending for long periods.
• Attention to detail is critical to ensure accurate measurements, leak prevention, and high-quality workmanship.
• Good time management skills enable plumbers to complete tasks efficiently, handle multiple assignments, and meet project deadlines.
