Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer/Technician with two to five years of experience to join our team in the packaging/manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving our mechanical systems to ensure efficient production processes. This role will involve working closely with the production team to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the packaging process for mono-cartons, cartons, and corrugated cartons
- Maintaining and troubleshooting packaging machinery to minimize downtime
- Implementing improvements to enhance packaging efficiency and quality
- Collaborating with the production team to meet packaging requirements
- Conducting regular inspections of packaging equipment and systems
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Documenting packaging procedures and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting in the installation and setup of new packaging equipment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Two to five years of experience in packaging
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining packaging machinery
- Strong knowledge of packaging processes and materials
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in packaging
