Job Summary: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand the company’s market presence. This role involves building strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders, as well as working closely with internal teams to align business development efforts with the company’s overall strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including partnerships, sponsorships, and content distribution deals.
2.Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
3.Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform business development strategies.
4.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
5.Negotiate contracts and agreements that are beneficial to the company and align with its long-term goals.
6.Serve as the primary point of contact for new business inquiries and partnership opportunities.
7.Work closely with the sales, marketing, content, and production teams to align business development efforts with the company’s goals.
8.Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized proposals and presentations for potential clients and partners.
9.Coordinate with legal and finance teams to ensure all business agreements comply with company policies and industry regulations.
10.Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.
11.Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective clients and partners.
12.Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that meet client needs and objectives.
13.Conduct thorough market research to identify new trends, emerging markets, and potential areas for growth.
14.Prepare regular reports on business development activities, including progress on targets and KPIs.
15.Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis and business performance.

Skills and Requirements:
i. Deep understanding of the media industry, including digital content, broadcasting, and entertainment sectors.
ii. Experience in identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities within the media landscape.
iii. Strong network of contacts within the media industry, including potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
iv. Proven track record of successfully developing and closing business deals that drive revenue growth.
v. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms for the company.
vi. Ability to analyze financial data, market trends, and competitive dynamics to inform business strategies.
vii. Experience in sales and marketing, with a focus on developing and executing sales strategies.
viii. Ability to create and deliver persuasive sales presentations that resonate with potential clients and partners.
ix. Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and their application in business development.
x. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
xi. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
xii. Ability to influence and persuade others to achieve desired outcomes.
xiii. Experience in managing the entire business development process from initial contact to deal closure.
xiv. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the media industry.
3. Proven success in driving revenue growth and developing strategic partnerships.
4. Experience with CRM software and other business development tools.
