Job Summary

We require an experienced driver with excellent navigation skills and knowledge of Lagos roads and traffic laws. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting personnel and goods while ensuring prompt and efficient service delivery.

The role involves driving both manual and automatic vehicles and maintaining their cleanliness and fuel levels. Additionally, the successful candidate will plan routes effectively to optimize travel time and fuel efficiency while adhering to all traffic rules and road safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport staff and/or goods to designated locations.
  • Maintain the vehicle in excellent condition, performing regular checks on oil, water, brakes, tires, and other critical components.
  • Ensure the vehicle is clean, fueled, and ready for operation.
  • Follow all traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
  • Plan routes effectively to optimize travel time and fuel efficiency.
  • Assist in loading and unloading goods where necessary.
  • Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel, and mileage.
  • Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delays promptly.
  • Perform other driving-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a professional driver with a valid driver's license.
  • Must live close to Yaba or its environs for easy commute.
  • Familiarity with Lagos roads, traffic laws, and routes.
  • Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A clean driving record with no history of violations.
  • Strong time management and reliability.
  • Available to travel interstate.
