Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality support to our lawyers in researching and preparing cases;
  • Conducting thorough research and analysis on complex legal issues;
  • Assisting in the preparation of court documents and other legal materials;
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with clients and stakeholders;
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of new procedures and processes to improve efficiency and productivity;
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years post-call experience as a Legal Assistant or equivalent position;
  • An LLB (Hons) degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper (2.1);
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills;
  • Strong research and analytical abilities;
  • Proficiency in computer literacy;
  • Professional dress sense and appearance;
  • Capacity for independent thinking and problem-solving;
  • Willingness to work long hours;
  • Reliable referees;
