Job Title: Lead Auditor

Location: Lagos, Nigeria.

Employment Type: Full-time.

Salary: 250,000 – 300,000 Naira.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Auditor to conduct internal and external audits to assess our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of auditing principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards. As a Lead Auditor, you will be responsible for evaluating financial risks, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reports.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Auditing: Conduct internal and external audits to assess financial operations and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Taxation: Manage tax planning and compliance, including the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and oversee budgets, financial forecasts, and financial strategies to support organizational objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify and evaluate financial risks, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial practices comply with statutory regulations and legislation.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Chartered Accountant (CA) with membership in a relevant professional body.
  • Minimum of four years of post-qualification experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • In-depth understanding of financial reporting standards and auditing processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
