Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Advisor to join our team at Stanbic IBTC Insurance Limited. As an Insurance Advisor, you will play a key role in providing expert advice to clients on risk management and insurance solutions.

Your primary responsibility will be to conduct financial assessments and risk analysis for clients, develop personalized financial plans, and provide guidance on various financial products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough financial assessments and risk analysis for clients to identify their needs and preferences.
• Develop and present personalized financial plans, including insurance recommendations tailored to individual client requirements.
• Provide expert guidance on life insurance, health insurance, disability insurance, and other financial products to ensure clients make informed decisions.
• Bid on new business opportunities and expand existing relationships with clients to increase sales and revenue growth.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to maintain expertise and provide innovative solutions to clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriting and claims, to deliver seamless customer experiences.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales performance, and market trends to inform future strategies.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in insurance sales or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, including life insurance, health insurance, and disability insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
