Akwa Ibom Transport Company is seeking an experienced Transportation Technology Specialist to join our team. Located in Uyo Station, this role requires a strong background in IT support and system maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine hardware repairs, including replacing drives, motherboards, RAM, and adding processor paste.
  • Maintain computer and server systems for optimal performance.
  • Repair and manage printers, ensuring smooth operations across departments.
  • Troubleshoot internet connectivity issues, including IP resolution and DNS problems.
  • Configure network systems and manage wireless networks.
  • Install and manage software on systems, including Tally Prime and Booking Applications.
  • Monitor and replace UPS batteries to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
  • Assist with CCTV system management and provide playback support as needed.
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in IT support, system maintenance, or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware repairs and software installation.
  • Familiarity with Tally Prime and Booking Applications is an advantage.

The estimated salary for this position is $30,000 - $40,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the location in Uyo Station. This figure may vary depending on individual qualifications and experience.
