Job Description:

The Front Desk Officer is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing inquiries, and ensuring the efficient operation of the front desk area. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring it is presentable at all times.
  • Register and sign in visitors, issue visitor badges, and notify relevant personnel of visitor arrivals.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and meetings, coordinating with staff members as needed.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as sorting and distributing mail, ordering office supplies, and maintaining records.
  • Provide information to visitors regarding company policies, procedures, and facilities.
  • Assist with basic troubleshooting of office equipment, such as printers and telephones.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and operations.

Requirements:

  • B.sc in any discipline or equivalent certification in office administration.
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Knowledge of office equipment and procedures.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
