About the Role

Viju Industires Nigeria Limited is seeking a highly skilled Machining and Maintenance Expert to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate conventional lathes and milling machines to produce high-quality parts and components.
  • Maintain and repair equipment to prevent downtime and ensure efficient production.
  • Troubleshoot common mechanical failures and perform routine maintenance tasks to extend equipment lifespan.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Possession of an intermediate or higher vocational qualification certificate in lathe/milling/bench fitting (e.g., National Occupational Qualification Level 4).
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings (CAD drawings preferred) and using measuring tools such as vernier calipers and micrometers.
  • Knowledge of metal material properties (e.g., steel, aluminum, copper) and mastery of cutting parameter adjustments (speed, feed rate).
