KAAPO NIGERIA LIMITED is a reputable organization seeking an experienced Chief Financial Strategist to join our team in FCT Abuja, Nigeria. This role will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and overseeing the accounting department.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Chief Financial Strategist who can oversee financial operations, develop and implement accounting policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate should have experience in bookkeeping and analytical skills to spot numerical mistakes.

The successful candidate will lead the accounting team to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee financial operations and ensure accurate financial statements are produced in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Prepare and oversee budgets and financial projections to drive business growth.
• Ensure that the company's financial records are organized and accurate, and act as a financial advisor to senior management.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
• Manage and develop the accounting team to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
• Liaise with external auditors and other financial professionals to ensure smooth operations.
• Analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase profitability and reduce costs.
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity to maintain a strong financial position.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should possess a professional qualification (e.g., Bachelor's degree) in Accounting with a minimum of BSC second class or HND upper credit in Accounting. A chartered Accountant would be an added advantage. You should also have at least 3+ years of experience in a similar role and excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Familiarity with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks and experience with general ledger functions are essential. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills are also required. We are offering a competitive salary of approximately N6,500,000 - N8,000,000 per annum depending on experience.
