- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations.">
- Record daily financial transactions, perform regular bank, ledger, and petty cash reconciliations, and investigate discrepancies in financial records.">
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and follow up on payments.">
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing data and reports as required by the Head of Finance.">
- Track department budgets, monitor expenditures against allocated funds, and assist in preparing budget forecasts and financial planning activities.">
- Evaluate and improve financial procedures, ensuring compliance with internal financial policies and procedures, and assisting with tax filings, audits, and other regulatory requirements.">
Qualifications and Skills
">- ">
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.">
- Progress towards a professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) is a plus.">
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.">
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.">
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.">
