Job Title: Procurement Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Officer to oversee purchasing activities for our local restaurant, ensuring that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of high quality.

  • Supervise employees and all activities of the purchasing department to maintain efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop strategic plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies to meet the needs of our business.
  • Foster a culture of compliance by following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough reviews, comparisons, analyses, and approvals of products and services to be purchased to ensure optimal value.
  • Effectively manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records to inform future purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain and update supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc. to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and build strong relationships to drive long-term partnerships.
  • Research and evaluate prospective suppliers to identify potential opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Prepare budgets, cost analyses, and reports to provide insights into purchasing performance.
