Kitchen Instruction Leader

Overview:

TAI seeks a skilled Culinary Arts Instructor to deliver high-quality educational experiences for students. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in culinary arts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Instructional Duties:

• Develop and deliver engaging culinary arts lessons, incorporating best practices and hands-on training.
• Teach students about various cooking techniques, ensuring they understand the importance of food safety and presentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and update curriculum materials, assessments, and evaluations.

Curriculum Development:

• Work closely with the academic team to design and implement new curriculum initiatives.
• Research and incorporate current industry trends and innovations into the curriculum.

Student Engagement:

• Provide personalized support and mentorship to students, helping them achieve their full potential.
• Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure students meet program standards.

Classroom and Kitchen Management:

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized teaching kitchen environment.
• Oversee kitchen inventory management, including ordering and maintaining tools, equipment, and ingredients.

Professional Development and Networking:

• Attend conferences, workshops, and seminars to stay current on culinary trends and best practices.
• Build relationships with local culinary professionals, organizations, and businesses to create opportunities for students.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 3–5 years of professional culinary experience.
• Skills: Expertise in culinary techniques, strong communication and presentation skills, ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Certifications: Relevant culinary arts-related certifications.
