
Human Resources Coordinator

BAYKINS GROUP is looking for a skilled HR Assistant to provide support to our HR department. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree and NYSC completion, and experience in an administrative setting is required.
The successful candidate will assist with various HR-related tasks, including maintaining accurate employee files, updating employee databases, and supporting with screening resumes and conducting initial phone interviews. They will also be responsible for preparing new hire paperwork and employment contracts, supporting with conducting all new employee orientation sessions, and setting up employee accounts for systems and benefits access. Additionally, they will assist with conducting appraisals and performances of staff, answering basic employee questions regarding health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits, processing benefit enrollment changes, coordinating logistics for training sessions, including scheduling rooms and materials, and maintaining training records.

Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
• Providing administrative support to the HR department;
• Maintaining accurate employee files, both physical and digital;
• Updating employee databases with changes in personal information, employment status, and benefits;
• Supporting with screening resumes and conducting initial phone interviews;
• Supporting with scheduling candidate interviews with hiring managers and documentation of new staff;
• Assisting with reference checks;
• Preparing new hire paperwork and employment contracts;
• Supporting with conducting all new employee orientation sessions;
• Setting up employee accounts for systems and benefits access;
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess a strong understanding of HR principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You should also be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management systems.
