Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our team at Consulting & Biz Solutions Limited. The successful candidate will have 5 years of experience in financial operations and will be responsible for managing various aspects of our company's financial operations.

About the Role: As an experienced accountant, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of our company's financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and financial statement preparation. You will also assist senior accountants with month-end and year-end closings, as well as special projects as assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Journal Entries and Financial Statements: Posting and processing journal entries to ensure accurate recording of business transactions; preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements in accordance with legal and company guidelines.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Updating accounts payable and issuing invoices to clients; ensuring timely and accurate payment and receipt of funds.
  • Expense Review and Financial Data Management: Reviewing expenses, payroll records, and updating financial data in databases to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Reporting and Closings: Preparing and submitting weekly and monthly reports to management; assisting senior accountants with month-end and year-end closings.

Requirements:

  • Certifications and Experience: Possession of a professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA; at least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar industry or role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
  • Education and Key Skills: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; strong attention to detail and organizational skills; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
