Experienced Account Officer

Journal Entries: Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are accurately recorded
Accounts Receivable: Updating accounts receivable and issuing invoices to clients
Accounts Payable: Updating accounts payable and performing reconciliations to ensure accuracy
Financial Statements: Assisting in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements in accordance with legal and company accounting guidelines
Expense Review: Reviewing expenses, payroll records, and other assigned tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance
Financial Data Management: Updating financial data in databases to ensure accuracy and timely availability of information
Reporting: Preparing and submitting weekly and monthly reports to management
Month-End/Year-End Closings: Assisting senior accountants in the preparation of monthly and yearly closings
Special Projects: Assisting with other accounting projects as assigned by management
To be considered for the position of an experienced accountant, the following requirements must be met:
Professional Certification: Possession of a professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
Minimum Experience: At least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar industry or role
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and laws, including tax laws and financial reporting requirements
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
Key Skills:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional Requirements:
Strong knowledge of financial planning and budgeting
Experience with financial analysis and reporting
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
