Job Description

As a Power Plant Operator at Ascentech Services Limited, you will play a critical role in generating electric power. Your primary responsibility will be to control and operate boilers, turbines, generators, and auxiliary equipment. You will monitor equipment to ensure proper operation and make adjustments as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain boilers, turbines, generators, and auxiliary equipment to generate electric power
- Monitor equipment performance and take corrective action to prevent breakdowns or malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including cleaning and lubricating machinery, and replacing defective parts
- Record and analyze readings from equipment, and report any abnormalities or concerns to supervisors
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations, and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements
  • - Bachelors degree in a related field such as electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
    - Minimum of 2 years experience as a power plant operator
    - Technical training in power plant operations, electrical systems, or related field
    - Ability to handle the operations of power plants and work rotating shifts
    - Familiar with Gas Genset operations
    - Previous experience as a power plant operator, or in a related field such as electrical or mechanical engineering

Salary Information
The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $80,000-$120,000 depending on qualifications and location.
