Job Summary

As a skilled Power Plant Operator at Ascentech Services Limited, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of power plants. This includes controlling and maintaining boilers, turbines, generators, and auxiliary equipment to generate electric power.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control equipment to ensure proper operation and make adjustments as needed.
  • Record and analyze readings from equipment to identify abnormalities and report concerns to supervisors.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including cleaning and lubricating machinery.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and regulations to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Communicate with other operators and engineers to coordinate activities and troubleshoot problems.
  • Operate equipment remotely using computerized systems.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of equipment performance, maintenance, and repairs.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a power plant operator.
  • Technical training in power plant operations, electrical systems, or a related field.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and be available for emergency response.
