Job Role:

Unit Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unit Accountant to join our team at our fine dining restaurant. The successful candidate will have previous experience with bookkeeping and a strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical skills and knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial transactions, including cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Analyze financial data and make recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and procedures
  • Develop and implement financial planning and budgeting processes

Requirements:

  • BSc in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree
  • 3 years' work experience as a Unit Accountant
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
