Job Title:

Unit Accounting Specialist

Job Summary:

Our hospitality recruitment placement service (HRPS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unit Accountant to manage all financial transactions, including fixed payments, variable expenses, bank deposits, and budgets for our fine dining restaurant.

The successful candidate will have previous experience with bookkeeping and a strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical skills and knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial transactions, including cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Analyze financial data and make recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and procedures
  • Develop and implement financial planning and budgeting processes

Requirements:

  • BSc in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree
  • 3 years' work experience as a Unit Accountant
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
