Geospatial Research Strategist

Job Summary:

Sambus Geospatial Nig Ltd seeks a skilled Geospatial Research Strategist to enhance existing products and boost sales through industry trend research. The ideal candidate will gather business intelligence on the Geospatial industry, its stakeholders, and competitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead key projects with R&D teams to drive business goals forward.
• Analyze and evaluate processes, equipment, and technology used in the company to improve product marketing and service delivery.
• Provide actionable insights through external environment research to increase profitability.
• Develop research programs focusing on current developments to enhance existing products and explore new opportunities.
• Understand customer expectations and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve issues.
• Determine and implement improved technologies from suppliers, competitors, and customers.
• Present annual reports on metrics and objectives to assess achievement of company goals.
• Document all research phases and lead projects to ensure timely completion within budget and value creation.
• Research new markets and product development, sharing findings with marketing and sales teams.
• Conduct internal operations and process research to identify areas for improvement.
• Promote the company's competitive advantage by generating insights and recommendations.
• Contribute to the company's newsletter and submit periodic reports.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Statistics, Geography, GIS, or a related field is mandatory.
• 2-year experience in a similar role is desirable.
