**Job Title:** Area Sales Manager

**Company Overview:**

  • We are a leading tobacco manufacturing company seeking a highly skilled Area Sales Manager to lead our sales and distribution efforts in the Enugu/Port Harcourt region.

**Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and collaborating with the Sales Director, Sales Associates, and distributors to drive sales and distribution operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring distribution and merchandising strategies align with business objectives.
  • Monitoring and reporting on volume and market share growth.
  • Effective management of distributor relationships to achieve set sales targets.
  • Ensuring 100% product availability across all channels and locations within the coverage area.
  • Leading a direct team of 5 sales personnel and coaching them to meet sales targets.
  • Providing accurate and timely market intelligence information to support business decision-making.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of total sales experience, with a minimum of 2 years of managerial experience in sales and distribution/channel management.
  • Proven expertise in trade marketing, distributor management, and customer service.
  • Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal).
