About the Role

Responsibilities:
Network and System Management: Design, implement, and maintain reliable IT systems. Troubleshoot complex network issues and optimize infrastructure performance. Ensure seamless integration with cloud-based services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
Software & IT Support: Deliver top-notch technical support to employees and government agencies. Manage enterprise software updates and deployments, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Collaborate with developers to integrate GIS applications and APIs.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection: Develop and enforce robust cybersecurity strategies. Conduct regular threat assessments and implement proactive measures to safeguard data. Ensure adherence to government IT policies and regulations.
Automation & Workflow Optimization: Leverage automation tools (Power Automate, Microsoft Power Apps) to streamline workflows and enhance productivity. Develop custom scripts and integrations to improve system efficiency. Work closely with stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement.
GIS Support for Training & Government Agencies: Create engaging training sessions for government staff and internal teams. Provide expert technical assistance for eGIS, Change Detection Dashboards, and Flood Warning Systems. Author comprehensive user guides and IT documentation.
