We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Subject Teacher to join our team of professionals at Medmina College. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching Economics, Financial Accounting, Business Studies, Commerce, and Fine and Creative Arts to students at the secondary school level.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the Nigerian and British curriculum standards for Economics, Financial Accounting, Business Studies, Commerce, and Fine and Creative Arts.">
• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the diverse learning styles and abilities of students.">
• Utilize various teaching methods, resources, and instructional technologies to enhance student learning outcomes.">
• Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.">
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to academic growth and personal development.">
• Incorporate real-world examples and practical applications into lessons to enhance students' understanding and relevance of the subjects.">
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities that integrate multiple subjects and promote holistic learning.">
• Foster a culture of critical thinking, creativity, and independent inquiry among students.">
• Provide guidance and support to students in extracurricular activities related to the subjects, such as business clubs, art exhibitions, or academic competitions.">
• Stay updated on current trends, developments, and best practices in education, particularly in the fields of Economics, Financial Accounting, Business Studies, Commerce, and Fine and Creative Arts.">
• Islamize the curriculum being taught to students.">

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Yoruba, French, Fine and Creative Arts, or a related field. A Master's degree is an advantage.">
• Relevant teaching certification/license.">
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Yoruba, French, Fine and Creative Arts at the secondary school level.">
• Familiarity with both the Nigerian and British curriculum frameworks.">
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.">
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.">
• Demonstrated passion for teaching and commitment to student success.">
