Main Duties:

As a key member of our team at Brainshare Technologies and Services Nigeria Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for introducing new networking technologies and improving existing ones to add value to our services and capabilities.

We are looking for a candidate who can develop solutions that drive the success of our network, coordinate the activities of the Technical Support Team, and provide necessary support to Data Center Engineer. The successful candidate will also motivate and carry out technical training for Technical & Customer Support Team from time to time.

Additionally, the Network Infrastructure Strategist will work hand-in-hand with the Network Engineer to achieve itch-free network services, leverage networking tools to identify & mitigate networks anomalies, and monitor the network performance on a daily basis.

Other key responsibilities of the role include handling & coordinating network trouble shooting & fault analysis, managing deployment & maintenance of network monitoring, analysis & reporting tools, and providing technical guidance and leadership to Technical Support Team in interpreting and reacting to networks issues/events.

Requirements:
  • A focussed, self-motivated Network Infrastructure Strategist with creative flair who will bring Network strategies to life.
  • An Engineer passionate about Network Strategies that thrives on delivering exciting performance and content.
  • A highly effective individual who has an absolute eye for detail and is focussed on improving business performance through exceptional Network – Strategies/Solutions execution, reporting and evaluation.
  • A degree holder in Electrical Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering Or Computer Engineering from reputable higher institution.
  • Must be certified professional in the relevant network engineering certifications like CCNA, CCNP & CCIE etc.
  • BGP, TCP/IP, Vlan experience.
  • Project Management skill (advantage).

We require the successful candidate to have at least 5 years and above cognate experience, ability and willingness to work long hours and meet tight deadlines, ability to work under none or minimal supervision, and maybe required to work weekends and in shifts.
