Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our team at Applied Engineering Technology Initiative Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting procedures, and providing financial support to various departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Banking Activities: Manage banking relationships, including opening and closing accounts, reconciliations, and settlements.
  • Vendor Payments: Process and settle vendor payments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Income/Receipt Coordination: Monitor and coordinate income and receipt activities, including invoicing and collections.
  • Asset Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of company assets, including fixed assets and inventory.
  • Payroll Administration: Administer payroll functions, including salary payments and benefits.
  • Liaison with Statutory Bodies: Liaise with state and federal tax authorities to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including weekly and monthly accounting reports.
  • Logistics Support: Provide logistical support to other departments as needed.
  • Stock Taking: Conduct stock takes in collaboration with the administration department.
  • Cost Accounting: Perform cost accounting functions, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Tax Administration: Administer tax matters, including tax returns and compliance.
  • Pension Fund Administration: Manage pension fund administration, including contributions and benefits.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with various stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
