Job Summary

DAYTONA is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Transportation: Safely transport finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.
  2. Vehicle Maintenance: Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe operation.
  3. Route Planning: Plan routes and meet delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient transportation.
  4. Documentation: Document and log work/rest periods, kilometres spent driving, and retain fuel/toll receipts.
  5. Regulatory Compliance: Comply with truck driving rules and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  6. Delivery Instructions: Collect and verify delivery instructions to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  7. Incident Reporting: Report defects, accidents, or violations to ensure a safe working environment.
