Truck Driver

At DAYTONA, we are seeking a skilled Driver (Truck Driver) to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.

• Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance: Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient transportation process.
• Route Planning and Scheduling: Plan routes and meet delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
• Transportation of Goods: Transport finished goods and raw materials to distribution centers, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving, as well as retain fuel/toll receipts for accurate record-keeping.
• Regulatory Compliance: Comply with truck driving rules and regulations, including size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Delivery Instructions and Reporting: Collect and verify delivery instructions and report defects, accidents, or violations to ensure a smooth and efficient transportation process.
