Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Procurement Manager to oversee our procurement operations in Nigeria. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing effective procurement strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Procurement Strategy Development: Design and implement procurement strategies that align with our business objectives and drive cost savings.
  2. Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and engage with reliable vendors to meet our procurement needs.
  3. Contract Negotiation: Develop and negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms.
  4. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  5. Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance metrics to measure procurement effectiveness and cost savings.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree/ Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of sourcing strategies, cost reduction techniques, and risk management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Understanding of procurement laws, policies, and best practices.
