**Job Overview**

Careers Verified is seeking a highly skilled Debt Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing and recovering outstanding debts from customers on behalf of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact customers via phone, email, or in-person visits to collect outstanding payments.
• FOLLOW UP ON OVERDUE ACCOUNTS AND NEGOTIATE REPAYMENT TERMS.
• Identify reasons for non-payment and propose solutions.

Customer Interaction & Dispute Resolution:

• Address customer queries and resolve payment disputes professionally.
• Educate customers on payment options and consequences of non-payment.
• Maintain a courteous and professional approach to ensure positive customer relations.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment arrangements, and follow-ups.
• Prepare and submit collection reports to management.
• Monitor accounts to identify potential risks and escalate complex cases.

Compliance & Legal Adherence:

• Ensure collection activities comply with company policies and regulatory laws.
• Collaborate with legal teams for necessary actions on delinquent accounts.
• Stay updated on debt collection laws and industry best practices.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the finance and sales teams to track payments and account statuses.
• Assist in developing and implementing collection strategies.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collection management software.
