Senior Financial Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Financial Associate to join our finance team at One Diverse Design, a creative industry firm.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in budgeting, and supporting the finance team with various accounting tasks. You will work closely with senior accountants and financial managers to ensure that the company's financial operations run smoothly.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including preparing and recording financial transactions (accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, etc.).
• Review, verify, and process invoices, expense reports, and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist with reconciling general ledger accounts.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support the preparation of tax documents and liaise with tax consultants or agencies to ensure timely filing and compliance.
• Analyze financial data, identifying trends, and offering recommendations for cost savings or improvements.
• Assist with payroll calculations, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Ensure financial processes comply with relevant regulations and standards. Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance (internships or entry-level roles in the creative industry are a plus).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
