We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Science educator to join our teaching staff at Dexterity Global Group. With a passion for motivating students to excel in Biology, the ideal candidate should possess at least 2 years of teaching experience, be well-versed in the British curriculum, and have strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.

Job Summary

The successful applicant will design and deliver engaging Biology lessons in alignment with the British curriculum, plan and facilitate experiments and practical activities to enhance students' comprehension of scientific concepts, create interactive teaching materials using Microsoft PowerPoint and other digital resources, track and evaluate students' progress, offer constructive feedback and support, prepare students thoroughly for exams, and contribute to departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and school-wide events.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methodologies.
  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes active participation and critical thinking.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and guardians.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of Science education and integrate new technologies into the classroom.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to integrate technology into the classroom.
  • Degree in Biology, Education, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Salary: ₦120,000 - ₦150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
