At Zylus Group International, we are seeking a seasoned Senior Legal Counsel to join our team. This pivotal role involves overseeing the preparation, review, and negotiation of legal documents related to real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and reviewing deeds of assignment, contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Providing expert advice on property acquisitions, leasing, and sales.
  • Ensuring compliance with real estate laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Managing disputes and litigation, and collaborating with external counsel when necessary.
  • Conducting due diligence on property titles and ownership.
  • Assisting in developing and implementing risk management strategies.
  • Maintaining awareness of changes in property laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of property laws, contracts, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.

We require a Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) and a valid license to practice law in Nigeria. A minimum of 3 years of experience in legal practice after call to bar, preferably in real estate or property law, is also necessary.
