VICTORY EMPOWERMENT CENTRE is seeking an experienced Debt Recovery Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled professional to oversee the recovery of outstanding debts, develop strategies to minimize risk, and build strong relationships with debtors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in debt recovery, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective debt recovery plans to minimize loss and maximize return on investment.
  • Analyze debtor information to identify potential risks and opportunities for growth.
  • Communicate with debtors to negotiate payment plans, resolve disputes, and maintain positive relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to share knowledge and best practices in debt recovery.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in debt recovery or a related field.
  • Graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, accounting, law).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of ₦80,000 plus a commission-based bonus structure tied to debt recovery performance. Additional benefits include transportation expenses, a generous leave policy, and opportunities for professional growth and development within the company.
