Job Summary:
The Account Manager at Ascentech Services Ltd will be responsible for managing the company's financial accounts, preparing financial statements, and analyzing variances. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and proficiency in IFRS.

Key Responsibilities:
• Preparation of monthly financial statements and detailed supplementary schedules.
• Conducting variance analysis and scrutinizing general ledger balances regularly.
• Reconciling major items in the income statement and balance sheet (e.g., sales, stock, bank, duties & taxes).
• Preparation of various management reports (regular and ad-hoc).
• Handling internal and external audits.
• Assisting other finance sub-functions as and when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• BSC graduate in accounting or related field (ICAN is an added advantage).
• 4-5 years of relevant experience.
• Good/sound accounting skills and knowledge.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficient in international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
• Good knowledge of companies act and tax laws.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
• Communication skills (written and oral).
• Knowledge of account payable process (added advantage).
• Supervisory experience and team coordinator experience in a large firm.
• Tax knowledge and withholding tax knowledge.
