Cash Collection Specialist

At Amaiden Energy Nigeria LTD, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Cash Receivables.
About the Role
We are looking for an individual who can effectively manage cash receivables, ensuring timely and accurate recording of all incoming payments from clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage cash receivables, ensuring timely and accurate recording of all incoming payments from clients.
- Monitor client accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Implement effective credit control processes to minimize overdue accounts and reduce the risk of bad debts.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, reconciling client accounts and ensuring all payments are applied correctly.
- Communicate with clients regarding outstanding balances, providing support and resolving disputes where necessary.
- Prepare regular reports on account status, aging reports, and overdue balances for management review.
- Collaborate with internal teams - billing to resolve payment-related issues and discrepancies.
Requirements
- First Degree from a recognized university/polytechnics in accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a related function.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel & other data entry tools.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Good Administrative skills.
- Good knowledge on the use of an accounting software.
- Numeracy Skill.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide opportunities for career growth and development, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
