We are looking for an experienced Managing Editor to join our team at Blakskill Limited. As a key member of our editorial department, you will be responsible for driving our editorial vision and operational excellence in digital media. About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in journalism, digital media, or publishing, with a proven track record of producing high-quality content. You will work closely with our Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Director to set the editorial vision and direction, and supervise the editorial team to ensure content meets high-quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Editorial Management:
  • Collaborate with senior editors to develop and implement editorial strategies.
  • Supervise a team of editors, writers, and other contributors to ensure content is produced on time and to a high standard.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
  • Content Development:
  • Ideate and commission new content ideas, including articles, videos, and podcasts.
  • Work with the insights team to analyze data and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry trends and developments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in editorial management, journalism, or related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
